Child protection within the framework of socio-pedagogical family support requires a sensitive, professionally sound approach and places high demands on all those involved. This course provides a practical description of the various forms of child endangerment, including neglect, physical, psychological and, in particular, sexual violence. It also addresses the strategies used by perpetrators, characteristics of affected children, typical warning signs, abuse among peers and specific risks in the digital space. The course is supplemented by practical example cases, recommendations for dealing with suspected cases and tips on self-care for professionals. The aim is to expand participants' ability to act in child protection situations and to create confidence in dealing with dangerous situations professionally.
