Diversity-sensitive work in daycare centers
Early Childhood Support Assistant • Induction courses
Diversity has long been an integral part of everyday life in daycare centers and shapes the way children, parents and professionals interact with one another. It brings together different perspectives, experiences and needs – and this is precisely where great opportunities for shared learning and mutual understanding lie. Among other things, this course teaches important terms such as diversity, discrimination and intersectionality, as well as the basic principles of prejudice awareness. Another focus is on ideas for actively shaping inclusion and promoting equal participation. The aim of the course is to develop knowledge and practical skills to create an appreciative, discrimination-sensitive environment that is open to all children.
