This course outlines key methods of Socio-Pedagogical Family Support (SPFS) that provide targeted support to professionals working with families. One focus is on methods of conversation and counseling. Building on this, resource-oriented approaches, such as model learning, role-playing and goal setting according to the SMART principle, are discussed. In addition, social space-oriented methods, such as social space exploration and network maps, are presented in order to reveal local potential. Finally, various methods of reflection (e.g. supervision, peer counseling) and evaluation tools for quality assurance are discussed. The aim of the course is to strengthen professionals in their methodological diversity so that they can effectively support families in a variety of ways.
