Participatory family diagnostics and socio-pedagogical case understanding
Socio-pedagocial Family Support • Additional courses
This course teaches the fundamentals of participatory family diagnostics and socio-pedagogical case understanding. To this end, the concept of social diagnostics is examined and distinguished from psychiatric diagnostics. Pedagogical case understanding is then presented as an important task in SPFS work, with the aim of understanding the family's real-life problems and subjective logic. The necessity of hypothesis-driven work in social diagnostics is followed by methodological work with the family, in which four selected techniques of socio-pedagogical case understanding are described in detail.
