A learning disability describes a cognitive impairment that affects the learning and application of basic school skills (e.g. reading, writing, arithmetic or understanding concepts). In the first part of this course, theoretical knowledge about learning disabilities is imparted (e.g. criteria, causes and effects, accompanying problems). In the subsequent practical part, numerous recommendations for action for the comprehensive support of children and young people with a learning disability in the context of school support are presented.
