Daycare at a glance
Early Childhood Support Assistant • Induction courses
This basic course takes a closer look at daycare centers as institutions. It presents both the legal framework and various pedagogical concepts. It also covers the educational mandate, daily routines, and the role of specialists in these facilities. Another section deals with parents, who play a decisive role in the educational partnership. Finally, we take a look at the challenges and future prospects of daycare centers. The aim of this course is to give early childhood support assistants an overview of the diverse possibilities offered by daycare centers and to raise awareness of the different approaches taken in individual facilities. After all, daycare centers are as diverse in their structures and concepts as the people who work in them and the children who attend them.
